Outpatient Consultations

Insured Patients

We will invoice your insurance company directly. We are all fee assured with the major insurers so there will be no excess payable except in exceptional circumstances.
If your policy has an excess then you will receive an invoice from Medserv who invoice on our behalf. Any queries regarding this invoice should be directed to them. If you wish to pay your invoice online click here.

Self-funding Patients

We use a company called Medserv for our invoicing. They will contact you directly with an invoice and payment or queries should be made through them. To securely pay on-line follow this link: Medserv's payment page
Please note that for many outpatient procedures there is a second charge made by the hospital for equipment and consumables. This is billed seperately by the hospital. Any queries regarding this charge should be made to the hospital.


Inpatient Treatments

Self-funding Patients

At your consultation your consultant should have provided you with a treatment code for your surgery. You should get an all-inclusive guide price from the Spire Murrayfield which can be done directly or via their website here. This includes all aspects of your surgery, stay and a follow up appointment. The hospital will organise payment directly.


Outpatient Procedures

Examples include endoscopy of your nose or sinuses, nasal cautery, hearing tests.
These will be billed with your consultation as above. Please note that for many procedures there is also a hospital fee for use of the equipment which will be billed seperately by the hospital and any queries regarding this charge should be made to the hospital.
